Membership Payment Terms and Conditions
Please read these Membership Payment Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before completing your membership registration or making any membership payment. By submitting a membership application, accepting an invitation to join, completing payment, or continuing to use any membership benefits, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("Member", "Applicant", "you" or "your") and For The Few, a private members collective registered and operating in the United Arab Emirates, through its licensed legal entity identified above ("For The Few", "the Collective", "we", "us" or "our").
1. Membership, Application & Eligibility
Membership is by application, invitation, or approval only and remains subject to the eligibility criteria, membership policy, and internal approval process of For The Few. Submitting an application or registering your interest does not guarantee acceptance as a member. For The Few reserves the right to accept, decline, pause, or withdraw any application at its sole discretion. If payment is requested before final approval, the payment will be treated as conditional until your membership is confirmed in writing by For The Few. If an applicant is not accepted after payment has been collected, For The Few may either reverse the payment or decline to activate the membership, subject to applicable payment processor rules and applicable law. By applying and/or making payment, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, complete, and not misleading. Membership is personal, non-transferable, and may not be assigned, sold, gifted, shared, or transferred to any other person without the prior written approval of For The Few.
2. Membership Fees
Membership fees may be offered on a monthly, annual, founding-member, invitation-only, promotional, or other basis, as communicated at the point of registration or approval. Current membership fees are: Monthly Membership Fee: 595 AED; Annual Membership Fee: 6,426 AED. All fees are quoted and charged in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise stated. Fees are inclusive of VAT only where expressly stated or where required under applicable UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations. If VAT or any other tax becomes applicable, For The Few may add or collect such amount in accordance with applicable law. For The Few may revise membership fees, introduce new membership tiers, or amend payment structures from time to time. Members will be notified of material fee changes at least 30 days in advance where reasonably possible. Continued membership after the effective date of any fee change constitutes acceptance of the revised fees.
3. Payment Plans
Monthly Plan: monthly fees are charged in advance on a recurring monthly basis on the same calendar date as the first successful payment, or on such other billing date confirmed by For The Few or its payment processor. Annual Plan: annual fees are charged as a single upfront payment covering a 12-month membership period from the date of activation or such other date confirmed in writing. The applicable fee, billing frequency, and membership period will be displayed or communicated at the point of payment. Annual memberships are not eligible for a mid-term switch to a monthly plan unless expressly approved by For The Few. Monthly members may upgrade to an annual plan, subject to approval and applicable pricing at that time. Different benefits, invitations, privileges, or access conditions may apply to different membership tiers or payment plans.
4. Payment Authorisation & Processing
By providing your payment details or completing payment through a payment link, checkout page, invoice, bank transfer, or any approved payment method, you authorise For The Few and/or its appointed payment processor to charge the applicable membership fee and any approved recurring fees. For monthly members, payment authorisation is ongoing and recurring until the membership is cancelled in accordance with these Terms. For annual members, payment is taken in full at the time of registration, activation, or renewal, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods may include credit card, debit card, payment link, hosted checkout page, invoice, bank transfer, or other methods made available by For The Few from time to time. It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment details are valid, current, and accurate. You must promptly update For The Few if your payment information changes. For The Few may use secure third-party payment processing services. We do not intend to store full card details on our own systems.
5. No Refund Policy
All membership fees, application fees, joining fees, administrative fees, event fees, deposits, and any other amounts paid to For The Few are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable UAE law or expressly approved in writing by For The Few management. No refund or credit will be provided for non-attendance, non-use of membership benefits, missed events, travel plans, relocation, change of personal circumstances, cancellation by the Member, or suspension or termination due to breach of these Terms or the Collective's policies. Where a refund is approved in writing or required by law, it will be processed to the original payment method where possible and may be subject to payment processor timelines, fees, and rules.
6. Late, Failed or Returned Payments
If a payment is not received by the due date, membership access may be suspended without prior notice until all outstanding amounts are settled. In the event of a failed payment, For The Few or its payment processor may reattempt collection and/or contact you using the details provided at registration. For The Few reserves the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for failed, returned, disputed, reversed, or chargeback payments, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If fees remain unpaid for 30 days or more, For The Few may terminate the membership and pursue recovery of any outstanding amount through lawful means.
7. Cancellation by the Member
Monthly Members: you may cancel your membership by providing written notice at least 30 days before your next billing date. Cancellation requests received with less than 30 days' notice may take effect from the following billing cycle, and the next monthly fee may still be charged. Annual Members: you may cancel your annual membership by providing a 90 days' prior written notice; however, annual membership fees are non-refundable and no refund, credit, or pro-rata repayment will be issued for any unused portion of the membership period, except where required by applicable UAE law. Annual Members: Unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date, annual memberships shall automatically renew for successive twelve (12) month periods at the applicable membership fee in force at the renewal date. Members will receive reasonable advance notice of renewal. Written cancellation notices must be submitted by email to Support@forthefew.ae or through any official membership management channel confirmed by For The Few. Upon cancellation, For The Few may allow access to membership benefits until the end of the paid period, unless membership is suspended or terminated due to breach, conduct, non-payment, or misuse.
8. Suspension or Termination by For The Few
For The Few may suspend or terminate membership with immediate effect and without refund if a Member breaches these Terms, the membership policy, event rules, privacy requirements, code of conduct, or any other policy of the Collective. For The Few may suspend or terminate membership with immediate effect and without refund if a Member engages in conduct that is harmful, disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, unlawful, offensive, damaging to the reputation of For The Few, damaging to other members, guests, partners, venues, brands, or collaborators, or inconsistent with the atmosphere and standards of the Collective. Members and approved guests remain subject to the rules, entry requirements, policies, dress codes, licensing conditions, health and safety requirements, and decisions of any third-party venue or event partner. For The Few is not responsible for decisions made independently by third-party venues. Members voluntarily attend all events and activities at their own risk. Members remain responsible for assessing their own health, fitness, and suitability to participate in any activity and agree to comply with all reasonable safety instructions issued by For The Few, venues, or event organizers. For The Few may suspend or terminate membership with immediate effect and without refund if a Member provides false or misleading information, misuses access, shares private event details without permission, commercially exploits the membership without approval, or breaches confidentiality or privacy expectations. For The Few may, at its discretion, suspend access temporarily while reviewing any conduct, payment, safety, privacy, or compliance concern.
9. Events, Access & Member Experiences
Membership provides access to a private members collective and the opportunity to receive invitations, apply for access, register interest, or RSVP for selected For The Few experiences, subject to availability and approval. Membership does not guarantee attendance at every event, experience, dinner, gathering, brand discovery event, partner event, or third-party venue activation. Certain events may have limited capacity, separate RSVP requirements, guest restrictions, waitlists, dress codes, approval requirements, additional event fees, deposits, minimum spend, or partner/venue terms. For The Few may amend, postpone, relocate, reschedule, curate, or cancel events where reasonably necessary due to venue availability, partner requirements, safety, compliance, demand, force majeure, or operational reasons. Members are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, transport, personal expenses, and any third-party costs unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
10. Guest Policy
Members may only attend For The Few events personally and may not bring guests, plus ones, companions, or other attendees unless the applicable event invitation, event policy, RSVP confirmation, or written approval from For The Few expressly permits guest access. Each For The Few event may have its own rules, access conditions, approval requirements, RSVP process, capacity limits, dress code, guest policy, payment terms, venue rules, and event-specific terms, which members must comply with in addition to these Terms. Where guest access is permitted, it may be subject to separate approval, capacity limits, guest fees, dress codes, registration requirements, venue rules, and any additional event-specific terms. Guests may only attend For The Few events where guest access is expressly permitted and approved in advance. Members are responsible for the conduct, payment obligations, and compliance of their guests. For The Few may refuse, remove, or restrict any guest at its sole discretion.
11. Privacy, Confidentiality & Media
Members are expected to respect the privacy, discretion, and confidentiality of For The Few, its members, guests, founders, partners, venues, brands, and collaborators. Private member lists, event details, conversations, invitations, locations, pricing, partner arrangements, and internal communications may not be shared publicly or commercially exploited without prior written approval. Photography, videography, tagging, posting, and publication may be subject to event-specific rules. For The Few may restrict or prohibit media capture at selected events. By attending For The Few events, you acknowledge that photography or videography may take place. Where required, For The Few will seek appropriate consent for identifiable public use of member images in accordance with applicable law and event terms.
12. Data Protection & Payment Data
By applying for or becoming a member, you consent to For The Few collecting, storing, and processing your personal data for membership administration, application review, communication, payment processing, event access, security, and compliance purposes. Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable UAE data protection laws and any Privacy Policy issued by For The Few. Payment data may be processed by authorised third-party payment providers. For The Few does not sell personal data and will not share personal data except where required by law, necessary to provide membership services, necessary for payment processing, or otherwise set out in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to These Terms
For The Few may amend, update, or replace these Terms from time to time. Members will be notified of material changes by email, website notice, membership portal notice, or other written communication at least 30 days in advance where reasonably possible. Your continued membership, payment, or use of membership benefits after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you may cancel your membership in accordance with Section 7. Fees already paid remain non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be referred to good-faith negotiations between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, For The Few, its officers, directors, employees, managers, affiliates, partners, venues, suppliers, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, reputational damage, or any other indirect loss arising from or relating to membership, attendance at events, cancellation or postponement of events, third-party services, or the use of membership benefits. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
16. Force Majeure
For The Few shall not be liable for any delay, suspension, cancellation, or failure to perform any obligation where such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, government restrictions, changes in law, civil unrest, terrorism, war, labour disputes, transportation disruptions, utility failures, venue closures, supplier failures, or any other force majeure event. In such circumstances, For The Few may suspend, postpone, relocate, modify, or cancel membership services or events without liability.
17. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to For The Few, including its name, logo, branding, website, marketing materials, photographs, event concepts, publications, content, designs, trademarks, and other proprietary materials, remain the exclusive property of For The Few or its licensors. Membership does not grant any ownership rights or licence to reproduce, distribute, exploit, or commercially use any such intellectual property without prior written consent.
18. Minimum Age
Membership is available only to individuals who are at least twenty-five (25) years of age, or such higher minimum age as may be required by applicable law or the policies of any participating venue.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
20. Food, Beverage & Allergy Responsibility
Food, beverages, catering, and refreshments may be provided at selected For The Few events either directly by For The Few or by third-party venues, caterers, restaurants, brands, suppliers, or event partners. Members and guests are solely responsible for informing For The Few and/or the relevant venue, caterer, or food and beverage provider of any allergies, dietary restrictions, intolerances, medical conditions, or food-related requirements before attending an event. While For The Few may take reasonable steps to communicate dietary requests where possible, For The Few does not guarantee that any food, beverage, catering service, or venue environment will be free from allergens, cross-contamination, or ingredients that may cause an adverse reaction. Members and guests consume all food and beverages at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, For The Few shall not be liable for any allergic reaction, intolerance, illness, injury, loss, or damage arising from food or beverage consumption, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
